APPOINT {Guest post from Elisabeth}

Do you know what abortion is?
You probably answered “Yes,” to that question.
All right.
Do you know what abortion really is?
People can come up with all sorts of names and definitions for it.
“A choice that people have to make for themselves.”
“A regular medical procedure.”
“A normal part of life.”
“A way to remove an unwanted part of society.”
My (Christine's) niece soon after she was born.
An opinion.

But it’s not.
It’s a murder of the most innocent of human lives.
Children who can’t even cry out in their pain for help.
Children betrayed by the very people who should love them the most, who should care for them and protect them against harm.
Because that’s what they are.
Not just tissue, or anything else they tell you.
Did you know that babies can feel pain after only 20 weeks in the womb?
Did you know that a quarter of our generation has been aborted?
Did you know?
“You may choose to look the other way, but you can never say again you did not know.”

An aborted baby. Look at that face and tell me the difference between this baby and the one above. Which one deserves to live?

My friend McKennaugh is creating a pro-life organization that will help people, especially teenagers, to fight abortion. There’s a link at the bottom of this post to her fundraising page with more information. It’s chance for you to help save lives.

Currently (8/24/2015)

Regretting...that I haven't posted on here in well over a month.
Waiting...for my dad to return from the vet with a sick puppy to find out what's wrong with him.
Thankful....that the smoke in our area has cleared up. (Apparently I'm extremely sensitive to smoke-being outside for just a bit made me rather sick. However, our friends on the eastern side of our state have it far worse.)
Watching....a show from Sullivan entertainment, the company that made Anne of Green Gables and Road to Avonlea, called Wind at My Back. friend's minion birthday party on Saturday.
The minion-loving brother would have gone crazy.
Feeling....nervous about starting school soon.
Listening.... to this beautiful song.

Enjoying...the book nook my sister set up in our new room.
I've spent hours reading here.
Loving....the sweet 11 puppies we have in our home now!
Deciding....that this post is too long now and I should end it.
I hope you all are making the best of the last golden days of summer!
